1. How do I search for a will?

You can search by entering the person’s full name and province in our Search Wills page. A small fee is charged per search, which also includes future notifications if a matching will is later uploaded.

2. How much does a will search cost?

A single search costs $5–10, depending on your selected option. Each search includes lifetime notifications—if a will is uploaded in the future under that name, you’ll be automatically notified at no extra cost.

3. What happens if no will is found?

If no registered will is found at the time of your search, you will still be enrolled for future notifications. That means if a lawyer later uploads a will with the same name, you’ll be notified right away.

4. How do lawyers upload wills?

Lawyers can create an account, choose a subscription or pay-per-upload plan, and securely add client names to the registry through their dashboard. Uploaded wills are linked only to the lawyer’s office for privacy and security.
